Hip Hop Rap Beef – Royce da 5’9″ vs Lupe Fiasco
The Royce & Lupe beef. A lot of people have heard about it, and we’re probably a little late. But I wanted to get a better scoop on what’s going on. The situation is a rap feud between friends, and random bickering over Instagram. Honestly, I was confused as hell about it and didn’t really know what the hell was going on, or who the people were that were involved. Since we’re a ‘news media’ site, I figured I should join the rest of the blogs and weigh in on what the hell is going on.

Cancel Eminem?! Shady Says I Don’t Think So With New Video For “Tone Deaf”
https://youtu.be/qleJpzB4q7A Oh cancel culture... Gen Z'ers are attempting to cancel Eminem for lyrics he recited in his smash hit with Rihanna from 2010, "Love The Way You Lie." The lyrics in question speak of setting his significant other on fire if she ever tried to leave him. This all began back in February when a... Continue Reading →
Top Five Eminem “Music to be Murdered by” Remixes
Eminem is certainly a polarizing figure these days. Seems like either people love him or hate him, but there's one thing that's for certain he is still going to get major views and is an inspiration to many other artists. Now, one can argue that these artists are just trying to "jump on the bandwagon"... Continue Reading →
Team Hoosier takes first round of Lyrically Rap’s Label Manager Fantasy League
It's official. After all the doubt and hate, Team Hoosier takes a commanding 3-1 lead in the Lyrically Rap Label Manager Fantasy League. It did come a little later than expected though. Yeah, we may have 'planned' to record scores like two weeks ago. But things happen. Christmas, craziness, and stuff. We were lazy over our Christmas break.
Eminem Drops “Surpise” Album: Music to be Murdered By Side B
I'm beginning to think Em's marketing team might just know what they're doing. About a week ago rumors began circulating that the rap god was gonna be dropping some new music soon. A track list was "leaked" online and was covered by about every major hip hop media outlet there is. Now this is just... Continue Reading →

Lyrically Rap’s Favorite 5 New Lyrical Hip Hop Tracks – August 2020 Week 4
Follow My Lead features Jehry Robinson and King Iso in a Strange Music stable collab. Jehry released his latest album, 20/Twenty, last Friday. It's a fresh album, with multiple inspirations of music composing some hard lyrics. I believe Jehry Robinson could perform in any genre of music, we're just lucky he's chosen lyrical rap. Follow My Lead is one of our favorite tracks from the album, and one of our favorite picks for this week.

The First Song of Every Eminem Album
Eminem has been in the game a long, long time. His first released album came out back in 1996. Infinite is lesser known but is full of raw hits, produced by Web Entertainment. Web Entertainment also produced Em's more well known release, The Slim Shady LP, which was used to sell Dr. Dre and the Aftermath label. I thought it would be fun to go back in history and take a look at all the first songs on Eminem's albums. I'm not going to rate them or anything. Everything Slim puts out is gold in my opinion. We'll just go from Infinite to Music to be Murdered By. I'll skip over the intros to each album and only grab the first song of each album.

Realities that are all to common with many of us. He gives us his stories in a multitude of lyrical flows, over well crafted musical production.
