Eminem is certainly a polarizing figure these days. Seems like either people love him or hate him, but there’s one thing that’s for certain he is still going to get major views and is an inspiration to many other artists. Now, one can argue that these artists are just trying to “jump on the bandwagon” to try and boost their standings in the algorithms by posting Eminem related content. There’s probably some truth to that, but hey can you really blame them. YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and all these other streaming and social media services use complex algorithms to give you what they think you want to see. These algorithms have kept many a great artist from getting their music out to the people. It really is a grind to boost your standing on these services and other than touring, that’s where these artists get most of their revenue from. To quote Tupac, “I ain’t mad at ya.”
