"Do what you love, and don’t let the hate stop you. I want people to listen to my music and be inspired to follow their own dreams. I don’t think my music has a specific demographic. I think anybody could listen and understand my love and passion for this. I try to be positive and... Continue Reading →
Album Spotlight: “Buggin’ Out” from Hip Hop/R&B artist Buggie is fun and a little steamy
Its high time we featured Buggie’s first EP on the site. “Buggin’ Out” has been out a couple weeks now, and after listening through it for probably the seventh time, I can still say its as fun and catchy as it was last week. Buggie gives an energetic journey that combines the sounds of hip hop and R&B. There’s kind of story there, or at least I’m about to create a story from the release.
Lyrically Rap Presents: Osay – Fresh Sound with that Biggy Feel
The people make it special, especially in those times when you get to meet someone who’s genuinely cool af. Osay, rapping out of Atlanta, is an extremely talented newcomer, who’s been studying the game for years. Osay’s sound is reminiscent of old school legend Biggie and 90’s rap, but with a modern vibe. I dare you not to nod your head while listening.

One of our favorite artists here at LyricallyRap, Buggie, dropped his latest video for "Always Fresh" the other night. Let's take a look at this hilarious video of a very serious song. https://youtu.be/5u8AjpOM8lU So the premise of the video is that Buggie is suing Tim Horton's (am i allowed to say that...eh fuck it) for... Boom Bap Phenom TARiiiQ Is a Name You May Not Know, But You Should!
Up and comer is a term that is thrown out a lot these days. Let's be honest the hip hop game is saturated with artists right now. Some good, some not so good. It's all relative I suppose, but trust me when i tell you that this "up and comer" is one to keep your... Continue Reading →

New JL Album “The Devil Hates Sunday” is a Hip Hop Banger! Another Great Release from the Strange Music Crewgi
JL released his latest album today (9/25/2020), “The Devil Hates Sundays” and as I write this, I’m listening through it. There’s a lot of music on this album, 20 songs spread out over an hour’s worth of quality hip hop. Usually when I write these articles, I try to choose three songs that are my favorite. It’s almost too hard to do that this time. Like I said, a lot of bangers.

Lyrically Rap Feature: Versvs. Taking Over the Lyrical Mainstage!
This week I was lucky enough to hear the new release from Versvs & Royce Da 5’9” “Enough for You”. The song is great. It’s a lyrical masterpiece. Of course, Royce’s name on any song is going to carry it’s own weight. Versvs holds his own though. There’s a reason why Crooked, Royce, Futuristic, Eazy Mac, Gawne, just to name a few, have worked with Versvs. He’s really, really good
New Album Drop FNX: “The Universal Frequency”
2020 has been a year full of disappointment, hardships, and chaos. I myself... Continue Reading →
