We've all probably saw those videos with the guy freestyling in the Uber Car. They've been around for a while, but just until recently, I was not aware that Hi-Rez was behind the sick freestyle lyrics. Random freestyling in public has become a trend on Youtube. Its fun, spontanous, and really demostrates some of the skills these lyrical artists have. Check out some of these videos of our favorite Hi-Rez Freestyle Uber Videos.

Remember when hip hop had standards? I mean now it seems like "views" are more highly regarded than the art and the culture of hip hop. I grew up in an era of hip hop where you had to have talent to even be noticed in the game. Hip hop is about way more than... Continue Reading →

The year was 1997, I was 11 years old and just beginning to love hip hop music. I then discovered Atmosphere's debut release, "Overcast" and instantly was a huge fan. The raw and gritty bars by Slug, and beats by Ant got me hooked. It was clear to me at that time that this duo... Continue Reading →

Eminem has been in the game a long, long time. His first released album came out back in 1996. Infinite is lesser known but is full of raw hits, produced by Web Entertainment. Web Entertainment also produced Em's more well known release, The Slim Shady LP, which was used to sell Dr. Dre and the Aftermath label. I thought it would be fun to go back in history and take a look at all the first songs on Eminem's albums. I'm not going to rate them or anything. Everything Slim puts out is gold in my opinion. We'll just go from Infinite to Music to be Murdered By. I'll skip over the intros to each album and only grab the first song of each album.
https://youtu.be/s1-D8UOq7iA Eminem had us all excited this weekend with this potential release, and it lived up to all the hype. Love everything about this song. Slim shows once again why he's the best. https://open.spotify.com/track/46OCG6HmF9GAOFwDc2JAlV?si=gcerPjdrSwKRcdk8cmDIeg
