Through the flu, technical issues, and on the fly late - spur of the moment craziness, we created something that was fun and hopefully our listeners could enjoy as well. JL released his latest album today (9/25/2020), “The Devil Hates Sundays” and as I write this, I’m listening through it. There’s a lot of music on this album, 20 songs spread out over an hour’s worth of quality hip hop. Usually when I write these articles, I try to choose three songs that are my favorite. It’s almost too hard to do that this time. Like I said, a lot of bangers.

Buggie was approached by Russian rap group Эскимос Crew to spit some bars on their latest album release, "Igloo". The track titled "Crash Test" features Buggie rapping about language barriers. We spoke to him about the inspiration to his verse.

Usually Friday is the day to drop new releases, but that wasn't the case today. I woke up and felt like it was Christmas, it was just release after release. And another one! But for real, its a good morning listening to these new songs. We got new releases from Ekoh and Rittz. Merkules and The Game. Joyner Lucas and Ashanti. Krizz Kaliko and Rittz. And some Emerging Artists I stumbled upon, the World Emcee group.
We went and did a little extra, we recorded a podcast. Generally, we're just writers, who don't speak all that well. We pushed past that, knowing that having extra media was the best way to reach more of an audience. We need that audience to promote the best lyrical rap music that's out there. These days, podcasts is where its at.
