Jarren Benton featuring Elz Jenkins and Oba Rowland – Watermelon Fried Chicken
Jarren Benton is quickly becoming one of my favorite up and coming Lyrical Rappers. He’s got sick talent, and nearly every song I’ve heard is a fun, get you moving type of song. “Watermelon Fried Chicken” fits right into the Benton Mold. Right from the beginning, the song gets me nodding. Jarren Benton is highly underated, and someone I feel that is not talked about enough in the Lyrical Rap game. We’re even ashamed to not have written a feature on Jarren. It’s coming though.

“Enough for You” led me to write up a feature on Versvs earlier in the week. Versvs is talented emerging artists that is creating great music with the industry’s best. Bringing in Royce da 5’9″ was a great decision, as one of the best rappers alive always brings the fire.
